🚀 AWS has expanded availability of I7ie Amazon EC2 instances to seven additional regions, targeting large storage I/O–intensive workloads. I7ie instances are powered by 5th Gen Intel Xeon processors (3.2 GHz all-core turbo), provide up to 120 TB local NVMe storage density and up to twice the vCPUs and memory of prior generations. Amazon EC2 Fleet Adds Interruptible Capacity Reservations

🔁 AWS now allows customers to use EC2 Fleet to consume interruptible Capacity Reservations by specifying reservation IDs across Launch Templates in a single Fleet call. This integration accelerates disaggregated LLM inference by increasing KV-cache throughput, lowering inter-token latency, and optimizing KV-cache memory use between prefill and decode nodes. NIXL interoperates with frameworks such as NVIDIA Dynamo, SGLang, and vLLM. Supported versions are NIXL 1.0.0+ and EFA installer 1.47.0+, available at no extra cost.
