🔒 Cloudflare for Government has achieved FedRAMP Class D (High) certification, marking a major milestone in meeting rigorous U.S. federal security standards. Built on Cloudflare’s single global network and its Data Localization Suite, the FedRAMP High offering ensures processing and storage of inspected traffic within U.S. data centers. This foundation also supports Cloudflare’s pursuit of DoD IL4 authorization to serve defense-sector needs.

🔒 AWS GovCloud (US) now routes technical support cases by default to US-based, US-citizen cloud support engineers, requiring no opt-in. This change covers both AWS GovCloud (US-East) and (US-West) Regions and is designed to maintain ITAR compliance and other GovCloud requirements. Support is available 24/7 via the AWS GovCloud (US) Console, API, click-to-call, and live chat. Engineers have the required permissions to work directly within regulated customer environments for faster issue resolution.

🚀 Amazon Web Services has made Amazon EC2 I7ie instances available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. I7ie instances, powered by 5th Gen Intel Xeon processors and 3rd-generation AWS Nitro SSDs, are designed for large storage I/O–intensive workloads and offer up to 120 TB of local NVMe, higher vCPU and memory densities, and up to 100 Gbps network bandwidth. AWS cites up to 40% better compute performance and 20% better price performance versus I3en, along with substantial improvements in storage throughput, latency, and latency variability for low-latency, high-random I/O use cases.
