OpenAI Tests ChatGPT-Powered Agent Builder Tool Preview

🧭 OpenAI is testing a visual Agent Builder that lets users assemble ChatGPT-powered agents by dropping and connecting node blocks in a flowchart. Templates like Customer service, Data enrichment, and Document comparison provide editable starting points, while users can also create flows from scratch. Agents are configurable with model choice, custom prompts, reasoning effort, and output format (text or JSON), and they can call tools and external services. Reported screenshots show support for MPC connectors such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Dropbox; OpenAI plans to share more details at DevDay.

DeepSeek-V3.1 Available as Fully Managed in Bedrock

🔍 DeepSeek-V3.1 is now available as a fully managed foundation model in Amazon Bedrock, offering an open-weight option designed for enterprise deployment. The model supports a selectable 'thinking' mode for step-by-step analysis and a faster non-thinking mode for quicker replies, with improved multilingual accuracy and reduced hallucinations. Enhanced tool-calling, transparent reasoning, and strong coding and analytical performance make it well suited for building AI agents, automating workflows, and tackling complex technical tasks. DeepSeek-V3.1 is available in US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Tokyo, Mumbai), and Europe (London, Stockholm).

How Cloudflare Runs More AI Models on Fewer GPUs with Omni

🤖 Cloudflare explains how Omni, an internal platform, consolidates many AI models onto fewer GPUs using lightweight process isolation, per-model Python virtual environments, and controlled GPU over-commitment. Omni’s scheduler spawns and manages model processes, isolates file systems with a FUSE-backed /proc/meminfo, and intercepts CUDA allocations to safely over-commit GPU RAM. The result is improved availability, lower latency, and reduced idle GPU waste.

Agent Factory: Enterprise Design Patterns for Agentic AI

🤖 Microsoft introduces the Agent Factory series to share best practices and design patterns for enterprise agentic AI that reasons, acts, and collaborates across workflows. The post outlines five core patterns—tool use, reflection, planning, multi-agent, and ReAct—and links them to real-world outcomes such as reduced proposal time and automated incident delivery. It stresses the need for a unified platform to manage security, identity, observability, and connectors. Azure AI Foundry is presented as a scalable end-to-end solution with flexible model choice, 1,400+ connectors, open protocols, and managed Entra Agent ID and RBAC.
