🔗 Amazon ECS Service Connect now supports cross-account communication in AWS GovCloud through integration with AWS Resource Access Manager (AWS RAM). You can share the underlying AWS Cloud Map namespaces with individual accounts, Organizational Units (OUs), or your entire AWS Organization to register services from multiple accounts in a single namespace. The capability works for both Fargate and EC2 launch modes in GovCloud (US-West and US-East) and is available via Console, API, SDK, CLI, and CloudFormation, simplifying service discovery and reducing duplication.

🚀 Amazon EventBridge now supports sending events directly to Amazon SQS fair queues, improving message distribution across consumer groups and reducing noisy-neighbor effects in multi-tenant systems. You can choose a fair queue as an EventBridge target via the AWS Management Console, AWS CLI, or AWS SDKs and must supply a MessageGroupID, either as a static value or using a JSON path. Fair queues let multiple consumers process messages from the same tenant concurrently while keeping processing times consistent. Support for Fair Queue and FIFO targets is available in all AWS commercial and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.

🚀 Amazon has made EC2 High Memory U7i instances with 12TB of DDR5 memory available in the Europe (Stockholm) Region. The u7i-12tb.224xlarge offers 896 vCPUs, up to 100 Gbps for both EBS and networking, and supports ENA Express for improved network performance. Powered by custom fourth‑generation Intel Xeon (Sapphire Rapids), these instances target mission‑critical in‑memory databases such as SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server, enabling higher transaction throughput and faster data loading.

🔧 Amazon Connect Cases now supports conditional field visibility and dependent field options to streamline case layouts and reduce data-entry errors. Administrators can show fields only when relevant (for example, display a Return Reason field for return cases) and restrict choice lists based on other selections (e.g., limit Issue Type to hardware options when Issue Category is Hardware). The feature is available in multiple AWS regions.

🔧 Microsoft resolved a bug that caused incorrect end-of-support warnings to appear in Windows Update settings after the October 2025 updates. The cosmetic issue affected Windows 10 22H2 devices enrolled in the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program as well as LTSC 2021 editions that remain supported, but affected systems continued to receive security updates. Microsoft issued a cloud configuration fix and on Nov 11, 2025 released KB5068781; admins can also apply a Known Issue Rollback policy if immediate deployment is required.

🔔 Microsoft released cumulative updates KB5068861 and KB5068865 for Windows 11 25H2/24H2 and 23H2, delivering the November 2025 Patch Tuesday security fixes, bug repairs, and several feature changes. The updates are mandatory security releases and update system build numbers to 26200.7019 (25H2/24H2 variants) and 226x1.6050 (23H2). Notable additions include a redesigned Start menu with Categories mode, updated battery icons with percentage, a new Copilot page in Get Started, Administrator Protection Preview, and post-quantum cryptography API support. Microsoft said the rollout is gradual and reported no new known issues at announcement time.

⚡ Effective today, all new Amazon MSK Provisioned clusters with Express brokers support Intelligent Rebalancing at no additional cost. The feature automates partition balancing when clusters scale up or down, maximizing capacity utilization and removing the need for manual or third-party partition management. AWS reports Intelligent Rebalancing runs up to 180× faster than Standard brokers and scales brokers without impacting client availability.

🔬 Amazon Braket notebook instances now include native support for CUDA-Q, enabled by upgrading the underlying OS to Amazon Linux 2023 to deliver improved performance, security, and compatibility for quantum development and production-ready workflows. Developers can run GPU-accelerated quantum circuit simulation alongside access to QPUs from IonQ, Rigetti, and IQM within the managed notebook environment. This eliminates the need for local deployment or separate Hybrid Jobs, streamlining hybrid quantum-classical experimentation. CUDA-Q support is available in all Regions where Braket operates.

🌐 Amazon now supports Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) addresses for S3 Express One Zone gateway VPC endpoints, enabling access over IPv6 or DualStack without additional translation infrastructure. This applies in all Regions where the storage class exists at no extra cost. You can enable IPv6 for new or existing endpoints via Console, CLI, SDK, or CloudFormation. 🔁 AWS Control Tower customers can now automatically enroll member accounts simply by moving them into an Organizational Unit (OU). When moved, Control Tower applies the destination OU's baseline configurations and controls and removes the originals from the prior OU, removing the need for manual re-registration. This streamlines provisioning by allowing accounts to be created and then placed in the correct OU using the AWS Organizations console or the CreateAccount and MoveAccount APIs. Customers on landing zone version 3.1+ can opt in by toggling the automatically enroll accounts flag or by setting RemediationTypes to Inheritance_Drift in the CreateLandingZone or UpdateLandingZone APIs.

🔔 Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio now delivers real-time notifications for data catalog activities, including new dataset publications, metadata changes, subscription requests, comments, and access approvals. Alerts are surfaced via a bell icon on the project home page and through a notification center that shows a recent list and a full, filterable tabular view by catalog, project, and event type. The feature is available in all regions where SageMaker Unified Studio is supported.

🔔 The Windows 11 Start menu has received its first major redesign since 2021 and is rolling out with the November 11 Patch Tuesday update. The new Start is scrollable and places the All apps list on the main screen, offering a categorized view (groups built locally from a JSON file) and a classic A‑to‑Z grid. The UI adapts column counts to screen size, lets you hide the Recommended feed via Settings > Personalization > Start, and is included in Build 26200.7019 and 26100.7019 or newer though it may not enable immediately after updating.

🔁 Microsoft is testing a faster version of Quick Machine Recovery (QMR) in Windows 11 that runs a one‑time scan in the Windows Recovery Environment to more quickly identify and apply fixes for systems that fail to boot. When WinRE launches QMR it connects to the internet to upload crash data so administrators can remove problematic updates or adjust settings remotely. The update also lets administrators and users toggle Smart App Control from Windows Security without performing a clean OS install, and is currently available to Insiders on Dev and Beta via Build 26220.7070 (KB5070300).

🌐 Amazon VPC Lattice now lets resource owners assign a custom domain name to a resource configuration, enabling layer‑4 access to databases, clusters and TLS‑based endpoints across VPCs and accounts. Owners specify a custom domain and share the resource configuration; VPC Lattice then provisions and manages a private hosted zone in the consumer VPC so consumers can resolve and access the resource using that domain. Resource owners may use AWS, customer‑owned, or third‑party domains, and consumers can exercise granular controls over which domains VPC Lattice manages. The feature is available at no additional cost in Regions where VPC Lattice resource configuration is offered.

🔍 AlloyDB AI launches two preview features—Auto Vector Embeddings and Auto Vector Index—that let teams convert operational databases into AI-native stores using simple SQL. Auto Vector Embeddings generates and incrementally refreshes vectors in-database, batching calls to Vertex AI and running as a background process. The Auto Vector Index (ScaNN) self-configures, self-tunes, and maintains vector indexes to accelerate filtered semantic search and reduce ETL and tuning overhead for production workloads.

🔖 Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio now lets administrators define custom tags that are applied to resources created by a SageMaker project. Administrators configure project profiles to supply tag key/value pairs or keys with default values that users can modify during project creation, helping enforce tagging standards and support SCPs and cost allocation. This initial release is API-only and available across all supported AWS Regions.

Platform changes target an 80% reduction in P99.9 and outlier latency and a ~30% improvement in average latency. The update raises the IOPS/GiB ceiling to 1,000, introduces 1 GiB billing granularity, and sets minimums of 100 IOPS and 1 MB/s per disk to improve cost optimization. Instant Access Snapshot (public preview) enables disks from snapshots to hydrate up to 10x faster for rapid recovery and scale-out.
