CISA Confirms Exploitation of Oracle E-Business SSRF Flaw

Cl0p-Linked Actors Exploit Oracle E-Business Suite

Oracle EBS Zero-Day Exploitation and Extortion Campaign
⚠️ GTIG and Mandiant tracked a large-scale extortion campaign beginning Sept. 29, 2025, in which actors claiming affiliation with the CL0P brand alleged theft from Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) environments. Analysis indicates exploitation of a zero-day (CVE-2025-61882) as early as Aug. 9, 2025, with suspicious activity dating back to July 10. Attackers abused UiServlet and SyncServlet flows, embedding Java payloads via XSL templates to achieve unauthenticated RCE and deploy in-memory implants. Organizations are urged to apply Oracle emergency patches, hunt for malicious templates in XDO_TEMPLATES_B/XDO_LOBS, and restrict outbound traffic to disrupt C2.

Pandoc SSRF Exploited to Target AWS IMDS, Steal EC2 Keys
🔒 Wiz has observed in-the-wild exploitation attempts of CVE-2025-51591, an SSRF in Pandoc that renders iframe tags and can direct them at the AWS Instance Metadata Service (IMDS). Attackers submitted crafted HTML aiming to access 169.254.169.254 to exfiltrate temporary IAM metadata and EC2 credentials. Attempts seen from August and continuing for weeks were blocked where IMDSv2 was enforced. Siemens Products: Multiple Apache-related Vulnerabilities

Rockwell ThinManager SSRF Exposes NTLM Hashes Remotely

Docker fixes critical container escape CVE-2025-9074
🚨Docker has released an urgent patch for CVE-2025-9074, a critical container escape flaw in Docker Desktop for Windows and macOS that carries a CVSS score of 9.3. A malicious container could reach the Docker Engine API at 192.168.65.7:2375 without authentication, create and start new containers that bind the host C:\ drive and thereby access or modify host files. The issue is fixed in version 4.44.3; Enhanced Container Isolation (ECI) does not mitigate the vulnerability. Linux desktop installations are not affected because they use a host named pipe instead of a TCP socket.

Talos Discloses Multiple WWBN, MedDream, ThreadX Flaws
🔒 Cisco Talos disclosed multiple vulnerabilities across WWBN AVideo, MedDream PACS Premium, and the Eclipse ThreadX FileX component. The issues include several reflected and stored XSS flaws, a race condition and incomplete blacklist handling in AVideo that can be chained to achieve arbitrary code execution, privilege escalation and credential exposure in MedDream, and a RAM-disk buffer overflow in FileX that can lead to remote code execution on embedded devices. All affected vendors issued patches per Cisco’s disclosure policy, and Talos advises deploying vendor fixes and using Snort rule updates and Talos advisories for detection and mitigation guidance.
