🔐 Multicloud adoption improves flexibility but introduces security and visibility risks unless managed centrally. Establish a central authority to define strategy, enforce policies and select cross-cloud tools, while implementing unified governance backed by identity management and automation. Treat every environment as a single trust boundary, enforce least privilege, and correlate telemetry for a unified detection-and-response posture. Limit access with short-lived sessions, recording and DLP to reduce attack surface and support auditability.

🔒 AWS announced a new tenant isolation mode for AWS Lambda, enabling customers to isolate request processing per tenant or end-user invoking the same function. By providing a unique tenant identifier on invocation, Lambda routes requests to execution environments dedicated to that tenant and ensures those environments are never used for other tenants. This simplifies building multi-tenant SaaS workloads and reduces the need for custom per-tenant function routing.

🔍 A majority of CISOs want full visibility into data flows across hybrid cloud environments but often lack suitable tooling. The Gigamon study CISO Insights: Recalibrating Risk in the Age of AI, surveying 1,021 security and IT leaders including 200 CISOs in early 2025, reports that network data volumes have nearly doubled due to AI and that 86% favor combining packet and metadata. However, 97% admit they must compromise on transparency, and many distrust public cloud security.
