Configure operators by adding your script files in workflow settings and pointing each operator to the function or command. This feature is available in all Regions where SageMaker Unified Studio runs.

The issue also prevents users from restoring their custom settings, and a related mouse settings regression was acknowledged. KB5120998 is an optional, non-security preview update that may install automatically if users enabled immediate update delivery.

🔒 Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) now supports S/MIME signing, enabling recipients to verify that messages are authentic and unaltered. Previously, senders had to pre-sign messages before submitting them to SES, adding operational complexity. Now you can store your signing certificate in AWS Certificate Manager and enable S/MIME for your sender identity so SES signs outbound mail automatically. Recipients without S/MIME-capable clients can still read messages normally, and the feature is available in all Regions where SES operates.

🔒 Amazon S3 now supports AWS PrivateLink for endpoints validated under the FIPS 140-3 program, enabling customers to use FIPS-validated cryptographic modules while keeping traffic inside their VPC. To enable, create or edit an interface VPC endpoint for S3 and select the FIPS S3 endpoint. This feature is available at no additional cost in several AWS Regions, including US East, US West, Canada, and AWS GovCloud (US).

🤖 Amazon Connect Customer now automates performance evaluations for both human and AI agents in Malay using generative AI. Managers can define custom evaluation criteria in natural language and receive AI-generated evaluations with justifications in their preferred language. The feature also supports cross-language evaluation, allowing assessments to be produced in English even when conversations occur in Malay. It is available across eight AWS regions.

📣 BigQuery now supports identity columns that automatically generate sequential 64-bit integer values for table rows. This feature simplifies unique identifier management by letting BigQuery handle ID generation natively, reducing ETL complexity and boilerplate SQL. Identity columns integrate with standard DML such as INSERT and MERGE and can be defined in CREATE TABLE statements with options for fully managed sequences or allow manual overrides when needed.

🔧 AWS CloudFormation now supports contract tests v2 via the --v2 flag on the cfn test command in the CloudFormation CLI. The new suite expands beyond basic CRUD checks to exercise resource type implementations across every handler operation, with live-state verification after create, update, and delete. New resource types can run these tests during registry submission, and Java-based resource types can run them locally with Docker and a built handler package. Additional checks include schema backward-compatibility, input linting, and detailed HTML and JUnit XML reports to reduce iteration cycles.

🔒 Amazon MemoryDB now supports AWS PrivateLink in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) and (US-East) Regions. You can create an interface VPC endpoint in your VPC via the Amazon VPC console, AWS SDK, or AWS CLI to privately access MemoryDB APIs from applications inside your VPC. The VPC endpoint can also be reached from other VPCs via VPC Peering or from on-premises networks using AWS VPN or AWS Direct Connect, keeping traffic off the public internet.

🎛️ AWS User Experience Customization (UXC) is now available in all commercial AWS Regions, allowing account administrators to set a custom account color and control which services and Regions appear in the AWS Management Console. SnapStart snapshots an initialized execution environment at deployment and resumes from the cache on invocation, avoiding full reinitialization. 📢 AWS Deadline Cloud now supports sharing job bundles to simplify distribution and reuse of render job templates across teams. Bundles include job templates, parameters, and asset references and can be published to a queue from the submitter or CLI. Shared bundles are stored as portable archives in the queue's existing S3 job attachments bucket, requiring no extra infrastructure. Users can browse, preview, and manage bundles via the console or new CLI commands.

🔒 AWS Backup now supports protecting and restoring more than 1,000 Amazon S3 buckets per account, aligning with the Amazon S3 bucket quota set for each account. Previously limited to 1,000 buckets, this update enables protection of all general-purpose buckets without requiring changes to existing backup plans when using default AWS Backup managed policies. 🔔 AWS Marketplace now supports auto-renewals for private offers to help sellers and buyers maintain uninterrupted software and service subscriptions. Sellers set renewal terms and choose how pricing carries forward—no change, fixed change, or a defined range—while buyers can opt in or out and update preferences later. AWS notifies both parties before renewal, provides a comparison of terms, and allows either side to opt out before the deadline. This feature is generally available in all commercial AWS Regions for direct private offers with contract pricing and requires no additional onboarding.

🔔 Amazon DocumentDB now supports in-place major version upgrades directly from engine versions 3.6 and 4.0 to 8.0, preserving data, configurations, and cluster settings. The capability removes the need for intermediate upgrades and is available in all AWS regions where 3.6 and 4.0 are supported. 🔍 Partner Revenue Measurement's User Agent string now captures additional AWS services, expanding visibility into attributed revenue and product consumption. Partners who already embed the APN User Agent format (APN_1.1/pc_$) receive this expanded coverage automatically with no additional implementation required. The newly measured consumption appears in the Attributed Revenue Dashboard within Partner Analytics in AWS Partner Central. This complements Resource Tagging and AWS Marketplace Metering integrations and is generally available in all commercial regions.

🔗 Amazon Quick now integrates with the AWS Agent Registry to let users discover, enable, and share MCP servers and agents directly within their Amazon Quick workspace. Connection details are pre-populated from the registry, enabling quick enablement and distribution for chat, agents, apps, flows, and research. The integration is available in all regions where Amazon Quick and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore are supported, and administrators can connect via Manage account > Permissions > AWS Agent Registry.

🔁 Amazon Connect Global Resiliency now supports cross-region routing, enabling contacts arriving in one AWS region to be offered to the longest-available matching agent across two linked regions. Managers can view analytics and search contacts across both regions as a unified contact center, and both regions carry live traffic at all times to ensure configurations and integrations are continuously exercised. Customers retain control over traffic distribution and can shift new contacts and agents to a single region when needed.
